A brisk 10-minute walk can take you to a beautiful City library, Depot Beach, and many of Charlevoix’s historic, whimsical Earl Young ‘mushroom homes’.
Upon your first visit to Charlevoix, you will understand why it is called ‘Charlevoix the Beautiful.’ For over 100 years, people have traveled to Charlevoix to make this one of the great vacation destinations in Northern Michigan.
The town of Charlevoix is situated around three lakes: Lake Michigan, Lake Charlevoix, and Round Lake, a natural harbor connecting the two lakes to each other.
