Just a short mile south of Mendocino this outstanding location is set on the oceanfront bluffs of Chapman Point, a natural curve of land that reaches out into the Pacific and a twin to the Mendocino Headlands. The Mendocino Bay setting has dramatic views of the ocean and a direct view of the Mendocino Village across the Bay.
The Pacifica Suite has a luxurious bath with a spa tub, a deck with dramatic ocean views and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. The Pacifica suite is upstairs and has a full kitchen, equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, a sink, a toaster, a coffee pot and a microwave. This suite is ideal for those preferring to cook while enjoying the stunning Oceanfront views.

We have stayed in both units 2 times now. It would be impossible to tell you which we liked best because we LOVE them both! Renting from Dan & Laura is always a pleasure they are so helpful and pleasant to deal with. The place was spotless (as usual) and the view was even better than these pictures show! There was plenty of firewood and a we made full use of it during the cool evenings. We stayed for 4 nights but wished we could stay for more. During our stay we only left one time and that was to get groceries and grab a bite to eat, because it was so cozy. Granted we have been to Mendocino a few times now so we had previously made the trip to a few nice places to eat, nearby Fort Bragg, to Glass Beach, all the cute downtown shops and art galleries, the private beach, and the dog friendly river just down the street otherwise we would have taken advantage of the close location to all of these places. There really is no better location than this it’s so close to everything but feels like it’s on its own island. You really have to experience it yourself to believe it…..We will be back.

This house has 4G cell phone service. We also have Comcast high Speed internet and full HD Direct TV. We list this as many vacation rentals in this area do not have any connectivity for phones or internet.
