The Little White House on Blue Heron Slough

Our house is a very comfortable 3 bedroom 2 bath home on Lake Jordan! This home has an open design with windows galore to maximize your view! Great expansive deck overlooking the lake, large enough for the whole family to enjoy meals outdoors. New updated master bathroom.
Our dock accommodates a 20ft. pontoon boat. The public launch is very close to the lake and Slab Out is right across the lake from us, right next to the YMCA.
Lake Jordan is well known for bass, trout and catfish fishing, all speeds of boating, jet skiing, kayaking, trails for mountain biking and running along the lake. The Wind Creek Casino is a few miles away! Plenty of activities for all in your family!
If golfing is your pleasure, Quail Walk Country Club is 5 miles from the Lake house. There is an 11 mile hike around Lake Jordan. Entrance to Sway Back Trail, is a few miles from the Lake house. Most of the trail is in the shade! Just across the main lake are sandy beaches to dock a boat and just hang for the day. You can also access the trail.
Winn Dixie Grocery Store and Walmart Super Store is approximately 10 miles away.
Lowe’s is located right across from Walmart in Wetumpka.
We recommend the restaurant “Our Place.” Opens at 4:30pm, closed on Mondays and Sundays. Also, “The Grumpy Dog” has awesome gourmet hot dogs. They are both located in old downtown Wetumpka.
Make sure you watch the movie, “The Big Fish” , staring Ewin McGregor. The movie was filmed about 15 years ago all in Wetumpka and on Lake Jordan. The house they filmed the movie is located just behind the Grumpy Dog. Recently HGTV Hometown Make Over redesigned and gave Wetumpka a facelift. Tour the town and see first hand all the wonderful improvements this amazing team did to our Wetumpka!! A great Hometown feel.
You might want to check out Coosa River Adventures for some fun rafting/kayaking on the Coosa. It is also in Wetumpka.
PET POLICY, we love our pets, however not everyone loves them as much as us. We respectfully ask that all pets stay off the furniture and off the beds! Pets are not to be left alone in the house. All pet messes are to be picked up, if any damaged from the pet is caused, i.e. furniture, walls, bedding, or rules not followed from the guidelines for the pet, the deposit will be forfeited. If damage exceeds the deposit, an extra fee from the resolution center will be applied through your account. We all love our pets, and we are happy to have our guest bring them, in the past guest have taken advantage of this privilege and we must be firm with our request if we continue to allow pets.
