ACCESSIBILITY: Climbing steps is REQUIRED to reach the cabin.
The mobility-impaired would need assistance as the gently sloped 4 inch landscaped steps do NOT have a hand rail. Also, the main level is up ANOTHER set of stairs WITH hand rails. You will LOVE the view though!

ROAD ACCESS to privacy is never right off a highway exit!
— The LAST HALF MILE to the cabin is a GRAVEL country lane thru the woods
— You’ll have to drive slowly & look out for deer/turtles crossing at any time

My WATERSIDE CABIN has plenty of open & covered decks furnished for relaxation in mind. Enjoy the HOT TUB, rocking chairs, porch swing, table & chairs and benches while admiring the beautiful scenic views up and down the river … BUT THERE IS MORE!
A RIVER DECK (now with bright LED lighting) cantilevered over the river with a STONE FIREPLACE makes for a STUNNING HANGOUT SPOT for a fireside riverside evening with loved ones. Whose turn is it to roast the s’mores? You won’t want to leave!
INSIDE THE CABIN all of the walls & ceilings are natural wood
STEPS TO THE RIVER take you down to the waters edge. When not in flood stage the river allows us to use a beach to set a blanket/chair down, to stretch, perform yoga, to fish or swim from or even pan for gold from (cut me in!)
BRING YOUR OWN HAMMOCK, string it between two trees and fall asleep listening to the river and other sounds of nature.
GO WANDERING – There is also a small stream with a few waterfalls that comes from a natural spring. There is also an abundance of FLORA and FAUNA in the area to enjoy (wildflowers, ferns, deer, butterflies, frogs, turtles, geese, blue herons, owls and more!)

The MAIN LEVEL UNCOVERED DECK has a charcoal GRILL and side access to the kitchen.
The DOWNSTAIRS LEVEL inside has:
– DEN area with comfy sofa, chairs, TV with DirecTV & DVD/blu-ray players;
– MASTER BEDROOM with a KING-sized bed and large closet;
– full bathroom with stone countertop;
– many board games and puzzles;

The COVERED DECK on this level has chairs, small tables, a bistro set & a porch swing.
The UNCOVERED DECK on this level has a large 5 person HOT-TUB.

Honestly, those that discover this place for the first time when they come to the area for a planned event like a wedding or a winery, they end up coming back here to enjoy it again and again, it’s THAT popular once discovered… and it’s THAT relaxing!

OTHER *IMPORTANT* THINGS TO NOTE:
Located in a rural neighborhood approximately the last half mile to the cabin is a shared gravel country lane through the woods. It’s just a mountain road, typical of many in the area but not typical for urban areas! Please drive slowly and look out for deer/turtles crossing at any time. Suitable for all vehicle types except for low riders!
IN THE PAST a part of the road into the neighborhood had some serious potholes which may explain some comments in reviews prior to October 2021 (that road issue has been resolved).
